Jill has been in the construction industry since 2012, focusing in roles dedicated to Safety. She’s had the opportunity to work in a variety of frontline construction positions, which include: Lead Foreman for a reclamation crew on the Kearn River Natural Gas Apex Expansion project, Railroad Services at the Soda Ash Mines in Central Wyoming, and Operating Equipment on the Echo Damn Seismic Re-Modification Project. These opportunities have helped Jill to understand how to effectively communicate with every level of employee and how to make safety personal. Since founding Awareness Is Key in 2016, Jill’s focus has been on conducting hazard analysis, documenting jobsite inspections and safety program development. She has seen her efforts improve clients’ overall safety performance, improve their insurance ratings and improve their safety standing with OSHA. Jill is an Outreach Trainer for OSHA General Industry and Construction. Jill also enjoys teaching continuing education courses.

Jackson began his career in heavy civil construction in 2018 as a boots on the ground laborer working his way up to heavy equipment operations. Through these opportunities he was able to learn firsthand how to communicate and implement safety in the field. Jackson joined Awareness Is Key in January of 2022, and has used his natural ability of connecting with people to build lasting relationships in the field and with client leadership. Jackson performs full time Site Safety Management and is proficient in conducting regulatory safety audits, performing field observations, coaching, and correcting safety deficiencies. Jackson enjoys hunting and fishing and truly cares about connecting and building relationships with people.

Carson has served in the heavy civil side of the construction industry since 2017 as a laborer, pipe layer and lead heavy equipment operator. Carson is well versed in traffic control and trenching and excavation duties. Carson enjoys being a part of the community and has served as a volunteer fire fighter and holds his Eagle Scout award. Carson has had the opportunity to participate in the Rapport Leadership program and learned valuable individual and relationship skills. We are excited to have Carson’s safety knowledge on our team!
